Last year, I had an accident that changed my life, and being around horses has really helped me manage my PTSD. That experience
made me realise I want to work with horses. I love learning about their behaviour and their physiology. I know they all have their own
personalities–just like we do–and that feeling safe is the most important thing for them. I’m used to manual labour, I can tack up and
lead a horse. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. Whether it’s mucking out stables, feeding, or any other hands-on tasks, I’m ready to
roll up my sleeves and get stuck in. I’m aware I have a lot to learn but I’m fully committed to this new career.
