Experience with Horses
I’ve been riding for over 20 years, English flatwork and jumpers. I’ve worked in barns throughout that time, including rehabbing and exercising horses, maintaining tack, grooming, cleaning the barn, mucking/feeding, tail plaiting (no mane), and turnout/bring in for all horses. I’ve ridden drafts, thoroughbreds, trained Western horses to English style, rehabbed OTTB, and trained horses for trail in the mountains.
Key Skills
Key skills include working with others, handling a variety of horses (including green, off-track, or extra charismatic) on the ground and under saddle, and natural horsemanship.

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I love their personalities, how they create unique relationships with those in their lives, and the freedom of flying.

I’d like to learn more about the horse industry and pick up new skills.

I’m an incredibly fast learner, I’m very detail-oriented, and I’m an extremely hard worker. Working in the barn is one of the most fulfilling times of my life.
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I would like to gain my happiness back. Riding horses is where I’m most centered and where I feel most at home. I’m looking to reconnect to that in my life, and to experience what the horse world has to offer.

Ideally yes, but not a dealbreaker. I will need a visa.
• Do you have any special requirements for any animals you wish to bring with you?
I have a dog, he has cancer so I may or may not be bringing him depending on his health.
• Do you have any ongoing commitments?
Nope!
• Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know of?
I have a tentative holiday booked 6/19-6/30 (again dependent on dog’s health).
