Experience with Horses
Experienced rider and groom, recently moved back to the UK after two busy polo and jumping seasons in NZ with all home and show duties. My last role was sole charge of a busy yard of 35+ horses, which included a busy AI and foaling season. Home rider for a range or horses from showjumpers, young horses and polo ponies. Ran a string of polo ponies, keeping them fit and maintained and groomed at games. We also had vet rehabilitation horses that required monitoring, medication and changing of dressings. Currently hold my HGV Class 2 and competent driving tractors, towing, harrowing, fencing, as well as keeping up to date with farrier, physio, dentist and vets.
Previously, working with breakers and young nervous horses and stallions, producing these and my own horses through to BE Advanced/ BS 1.30. Worked on professional event, showjumping and racing yards.
Key Skills
