Experience with Horses
I have ridden up to Advanced level eventing, 1.30m BSJA & Prix St George dressage. I have produced young horses from scratch and also have experience working with breakers.
Key Skills
I am more than happy to work alone, but do love to be a part of a team, especially if everyone has a good sense of humour ! I have a good ‘battery life’ and am not afraid of working long days, early mornings etc. I can do all yard duties to a high standard, and have a good level of confidence and knowledge with veterinary care. I currently have three of my own horses that range from 2*-4* level which I manage myself, alongside my marketing job.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I love working with young / quirky horses, and understanding what works for them in training to get the most out of them, teaching them to enjoy their job.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I’d love to get back to 4* level eventing !
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I have a lot of experience with event horses, and am a hard working, reliable and have a calm and quiet way with horses
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
As much riding and competition exposure would be ideal !
• Do you need accommodation?
If job is located outside Worcestershire, then yes.
• Do you have any special requirements for any animals you wish to bring with you?
I would love to bring my 3 event horses with me (2 I would be looking to sell in the near future).
• Do you have any ongoing commitments?
Currently working for an exhibition company in Marketing.
• Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know of?
5 days in May (one day is a bank holiday)
