Over 20 years working in the equine industry across all disciplines. Specialising in starting youngsters and helping problem horses. Have worked in Ireland, UK, Canada and Australia as a groom, rider, breaker, stud hand, coach and transporter.
Key Skills
Exceptional attention to detail. Notice the little things before they become big things. Very empathetic and understanding of horse behaviour and psychology. Firm but fair.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• Helping horses to perform to their best both physically and mentally.
• Due to an injury, my riding fitness is not what it was so I would love to have the opportunity to get back to where I was. Also, to continue learning and growing in all aspects.
• I am highly motivated, very punctual, fast and efficient in all aspects of my job. The horses welfare will always come first and I do not see it as a 9-5 job. Horses have and always will be my life.
Requirements
• Accommodation preferred if not in Kent or Sussex. I have 2 very well behaved dogs who have been brought up around horses. Chance to improve riding and knowledge preferred but not necessary.
