Experience with Horses
With over five years of experience working in top-level showjumping yards, I have had the privilege of working alongside 5* riders, gaining invaluable knowledge and expertise. I am extremely confident handling fit, strong horses and have a proven track record of providing exceptional care with attention to detail. I am particularly experienced and confident working with stallions. While I am capable of riding, my preference is not to school, I am happy to hack out and support horses’ fitness routines. I am also skilled in lunging and long reining, contributing to the overall training and wellbeing of the horses under my care.
Key Skills
Highly skilled in all aspects of top-level horse care, including clipping, plaiting, and turning out horses to a 5* standard. Confident and experienced handling stallions and fit competition horses, with additional capabilities in riding when required, as well as proficient lunging and long reining. I thrive in both team environments and when working independently, consistently staying calm and effective under pressure. I have a logical, solutions-focused mindset and am confident in delegating tasks and managing yard operations. Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I’ve been around horses since I was a young child and have an enormous love for them they truly bring me immense happiness. I’m passionate about their care and wellbeing, and I find great joy in looking after them, watching them grow, and seeing them thrive at shows doing what they love. It makes me incredibly proud to be part of their journey. I also love working outdoors and enjoy the positive, team oriented atmosphere that comes with working in a yard. Simply put, I’m a true horse lover through and through.

• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I would like to be either sole charge at home but also happy to be a home groom and equally happy to be an assistant manger I have done all three and enjoy all! I want to gain from my next job a long term place to stay and thrive to be the best version of myself and there is always more to learn so for sure do that!
