As a 19-year-old from Warwickshire, England, I have extensive experience working with horses, having been raised in an environment where they are a central part of my life. I have experience riding and working with a variety of horse types, including eventing, hunting, and dressage, training young horses.
I completed a Level 3 Equine Management Diploma at Moreton Morrell College last year. While I found the practical aspects relatively straightforward, I found the theory work to be very informative. I learned a great deal, particularly regarding equine diet and nutrition.
I have several skills that I believe would make me a valuable asset to your team, including time management, adaptability, reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. In addition to these general skills, I have specific equine skills such as bandaging, plaiting, horse care and management, riding to an experienced level and tack and turnout.
I also have a certificate in First Aid.
I have recently come home from travelling Australia for 5 months, where for 2.5 of those months, I worked on a thoroughbred stud. Here I cared for horses on livery, handled foals, groomed at shows, rebacked young horses, rode pre-trainers and helped with maintaining the property.
