Experience with horses
5 years of experience on competition yards previously being head girl on a professionals yard. I have travelled across the uk to national and international competitions.
I completed both my level 2 & 3 apprenticeship in equine care and management with very high results.
I have handled and dealt with all kinds of competition horses to pony’s.
Key Skills
I am competent in plaiting, cliping, bandage and first aid experience, I love preparing and turning out for shows but also attending and looking after the horses while there i’m organised and know the routine.
i am confident in fitness work, flat, lunging and popping some fence i have worked with some young horses however i’m always willing to learn.
I have run competition yards alone and with a team, organising orders in, vet visits, dealing with the farier and clients.
Strengths and Weaknesses
I enjoy watching the horses excel at there jobs under my care and the day to day of getting to know them and there quirks and personalities. I would love to improve my riding i’m always striding to do better and i would love to improve my plaiting as i haven’t had to do it in a while.
I think employers should consider me as i’m hardworking, team player and committed to the job!
Requirements
I would like to gain more experience going to shows nationally and eventually internationally abroad as well, i would love to improve my riding and train horses under someone.
