Experience with horses
I am seeking employment within the equine industry, for the past 4 years I have been working as a groom/rider at a sales yard. In this role, I am responsible for the daily care, management, and presentation of horses to a high professional standard. I have experience working in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of attention to detail, horse welfare, and teamwork. I also work a few days a week for 2 lady’s, 1 full livery yard where I do all general yard duties and exercise all horses from hacking to jumping.

What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I greatly enjoy working with horses and find it rewarding to care for them and contribute positively to their wellbeing. Horses have a significant impact on our lives, and I take pride in caring for them as if they were my own.
Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to further develop my trimming and thinning skills. While I have experience plaiting horses, I would welcome more opportunities to improve my preparation techniques.
