Motivated and experienced 21-year-old rider, competed up to 1.20m in show jumping, seeking a hands-on placement within a professional equestrian yard. Studying BSc Equine Performance and Rehabilitation at Hartpury University, with a BTEC Level 3 in Equine Management and a strong background freelancing at both show jumping and dressage yards. Passionate about horse welfare, rider development, and performance management. Reliable, hardworking, and a certified first aider.
SKILLS
Confident rider with competition experience up to 115/120 level.
Hands-on experience with competition horses, youngsters, and dressage horses (including stallions)
Proficient in yard duties: mucking out, grooming, clipping, plaiting, feeding, lunging
Equine first aid trained; knowledgeable in injury recognition and basic rehabilitation techniques
Reliable, adaptable, and proactive team member
Excellent time management and communication skills
Experienced with small machinery (e.g., Gator, Kawasaki) and trailer handling
Familiar with basic admin and stock management systems (SAP, purchase orders)

Veterinary Practice Work Experience – Assisted with reception duties, cleaned and maintained operating theatres, and observed surgical and medical procedures.

PERSONAL INTERESTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Actively compete in affiliated British Show jumping competitions up to Members Cup/Foxhunter level .
I manage the daily care, fitness, and competition preparation of my three horses, demonstrating strong commitment and self-discipline.
Selected as a brand ambassador for Jump 4 Joy in 2019, writing website content and promoting products. Have collaborated with multiple equestrian brands, including EQUStreamz, PIVO, CT Equine Collection, ARRO Helmets, HORZE, Equestic, and HY Equestrian — developing communication, branding, and online marketing skills.
Keenly interested in equine biomechanics and rehabilitation, and continue to pursue knowledge in these areas through academic work and independent study.
I am seeking a hands-on placement within a professional equestrian yard.
