Experience with Horses
although being brought up with horses of all different sizes, breeds and personalities my experience is that of a small family yard and im looking to gain experience in a competition environment. i owned and cared for a 16yo Connemara for just over a year before having to send him back to family due to issues with our yard and being unable to find another near me.
Key Skills
working alone, working with others, turning out for shows, handling young horses, grooming, poo-picking, horse husbandry in general, good knowledge of horse confirmation (can spot lameness ect), physical fitness, good communication, work well under pressure, basic knowledge of equine health ( recognising signs of illness or injury and able to administer basic first aid), daily tasks

honestly just spending time with them, riding when required, hacking, learning new things ect

my riding in general, although ive grown up around horses and in a very horsey family due to poor circumstances its not often i get the opportunity to ride
