Experience with Horses
Have been riding since I was 9 years old. Had my own horse since I was 9 owned him for 11 years. Went on to study in Kildalton agricultural college studied there for 2 years learning horsemanship. After that I worked in a busy showjumping/breaking yard. I worked there as head girl for a year. Training and breaking young horses. Schooling young horses. Prepping horses for sales, assisting at the sales. Prepping horses for shows had 2 or 3 shows each week. Handling foals and prepping them for sales. Exercising show jumpers and training young horses and general yard duties. I then worked as a stable hand in a racing yard. Doing general yard duties. Taking horses on and off the walker. Prepping horses for race day and assisting at the races. Riding the horses on the flat. I then worked for a local man breaking and training his young horses. Getting them ready for sales. Doing general yard work
