Experience with Horses
Riding since a young age, experience in showing dressage and eventing and hunting. Mainly focused on showing as a rider and groomed for 5* eventers.
I have ridden horses since a young age and have dabbled in a few different disciplines over the years, hunting, showing, dressage, eventing. With showing being my main focus. I have a strong passion for turning horses out and especially love working with event horses. For the last 5 years I have worked as 2ic and then a manager on dairy farms. I am wanting to take a break from dairy and work full time with horses, and make the move from New Zealand to the uk.
Dedicated and skilled with international experience working with elite 4* and 5* event riders and show horses across New Zealand and Australia. Confident in all aspects of horse care both at home and at competitions, including full show prep, travel management, clipping, turnout, and riding. Having competed in eventing, dressage and showing. Known for calm, reliable handling under pressure and a strong eye for detail in presentation. Currently based in the UK and seeking a hands-on grooming role with a professional yard or private stable. I have dairy farmed for the last 5 years fulltime and am confident with all aspects of farming, tractor driving, fencing, animal care etc.
