Experience with Horses
Please note: I will need visa sponsorship
I’ve been riding for over 16 years, with strong experience in Showjumping and Eventing. Confident starting and producing young horses, as well as handling fit competition horses and stallions. I’ve worked with horses at all levels—foals, broodmares, and performance horses—and in various settings, including busy competition yards, rehab centres, and quarantine facilities. I am a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist, which gives me excellent horse handling skills and a deep understanding of equine anatomy, behaviour, and performance. My rehab experience adds value to every role, as I can pick up subtle lameness or discomfort, adjust work programs accordingly, and support horses back to soundness or peak condition. I’ve also managed teams, overseen daily care, worked closely with vets, assisting vets in all diagnostics and treatments, am able and confident to administer medication prescribed by a vet, and am confident in high standards of stable and yard management. Calm, adaptable, and committed to excellent horse care in any setting.

Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I love building trust and understanding with each horse, whether it’s a young one learning something new or a rehab case making progress. Seeing a horse thrive through correct care, training, and handling is incredibly rewarding. I enjoy both the physical work and the quiet, focused connection horses require.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I’m always looking to expand my knowledge—particularly gaining more advanced riding experience, veterinary collaboration, and new rehab cases. I’d also like to gain more international competition experience and continue refining my leadership and yard management skills in high-level environments.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I bring a unique combination of hands-on riding and management experience, plus a clinical background in equine physiotherapy. I can spot subtle issues others might miss and provide tailored care that supports both soundness and performance. I’m hardworking, adaptable, and genuinely committed to high standards in every area of horse care and handling.
