Experience with Horses

I have worked and owned horses for many years including showjumping and dressage yards. I have a first class honours degree in Equine Sport Science. Hoping to qualify as a veterinary physiotherapist in the future. I have competed both BSJA and BD in the past as well as groomed at various shows.

Key Skills

Can work well alone or within a team environment. Have an eye for detail and always provide the horses in my care with my full attention and effort. Can handle a range of horses including fit competition horses.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

I have always loved and known that I will have a future with horses. I love being outdoors in all weathers and very passionate about providing the top care to horses. I am very eager to expand my skill set now that I have graduated from university.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

I am aiming to gain a greater understanding of what it is like to work within industry. I hope to gain more skills such as turning out to a high standard and grooming at competitions. I would like to also continue to improve my riding however this is not essential.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

I am extremely hard working and always looking to learn. I am not afraid to ask questions when needed as I love to learn new ways or methods of doing things. I have an eye for detail and always provide the top care to all horses. I love what I do which means being around horses never feels like work to me!
