Requirements
I would like to gain an apprenticeship from an employer ideally and as much knowledge and experience i possibly can.
If far away from me I would possibly have to live in considering the distance employers are.
If living in ideally bring own horse along, but if not thats fine. No other pets needed to accommodate.
Experience with Horses
I have grown up around horses all my life and ridden since the age of 4, My families always had horses involved and still does, ranging from small allrounder first ponies to large competition/ ex competition horses, I have volunteered at two local yards as general yard work and stable hands. Ive got show experience and home experience.
Key Skills
My key skills are: working in groups or alone I am able to do both well and capably, Im hard working and dedicated to do whatever is needed whenever in any conditions/circumstances. My riding is strongest in low dressage work, and showjumping. I am able to handle young horses on the ground and ridden well, and don’t shy away from any deemed “naughty” horses.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses? I enjoy the movement and always having a job to do rather than sit around all day.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve? I would like to improve by gaining more and more experience that i possibly can and learn new things that possibly i wouldn’t of known about different disciplines/yards.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker? I think employers should consider me because I have a can and will mindset, I will accomplish whatever is needed no matter the hard work, weather conditions or how difficult and different to me the work at hand is.
