Experience with Horses

Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.

I have been lucky enough to grown up around horses and many other animals and like to say looking after them is in my blood. I have a range of experiences with horses (and other animals and people) from working at riding stables and livery yards, escorting hacks out on The New Forest, hacking out/exercising horses for people, looking after people’s horses whilst away on holiday (also house sitting), and having sole charge over a small livery yard. I can muck out/turn out to a high standard, am a confident rider but would love to improve my jumping and get out hunting, I enjoy keeping yards clean and tidy.

key skills:

working alone, working with others, poo picking, mucking out, turning out to a high standard, grooming, bathing, riding, holding for vet/farrier, injecting, administering medication, clean and tidy, caring
