Experience with Horses

Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.

I have worked on yards doing daily yard duties, helping in lessons and attending vet, farrier and dentist as well as exercising horses, I have gone to college and completed a 2 year Level 3 Equine Management course.

Key Skills

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc

I am good at working alone as well as in a group. I have done plaiting, clipping, show preparation, riding horses of different levels, lunging, mucking out, grooming and bathing.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

I love spending time with horses, under saddle as well as on the ground. I enjoy being around them, understanding there behaviour and learning about them.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

I’d like to improve my riding skills.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

I have always wanted to work with horses, riding and learning there behaviours. I have a very good understanding of their physiological behaviours.
