Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
My strength will be in sole charge but I am also a good team player. I am a good communicator, I excel in emotional intelligence, have very well developed logical thinking. I can do usual stable work and all the duties as clipping, turning our for shows, showing, handling, young horses, foaling, handling foals etc.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
The variability. There is non of the horse as the other. I appreciate different characters and temperaments. I find very exciting the process of discovering of hidden talents of those horses.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
Although I used to compete in showjumping I have been always told my strength is in dressage. I would like to give myself a chance in this area.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
Authenticity, honesty and a sense for horses. I am pretty good in observing horses, their behaviour and predicting their reaction based of my previous experiences. I also have a sense for detail. Another valuable difference from others would be experiences from a different environments, multiple horse disciplines, different countries and working with a loads of nationalities.
