i’ve worked on a race yard for abit, mucking out, riding up on the gallops and really enjoyed it but could manage 3 jobs at the time so had to leave 2. i own a ex race horse who is at a livery yard that i help other people’s horses out if they can’t. i just love working around horses i’ve always been around them growing up and just find it good fun to go out riding and other jobs

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
i’m good at working alone or in company, i can handle well behaved and not so well behaved horses as mine is abit of a pain sometimes. i haven’t really done much clipping and plaiting as i haven’t had to but i would love to learn properly.

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
probably the part when there’s a couple of people you know and all doing something fun like hunting or just a nice hack and your cantering and jumping, it’s just a lot of fun

i have a good sence of humour and love a laugh but that doesn’t make me better then anyone else, others probably have worked more in this industry and haven’t before only on a race yard but it wasn’t even more long, i would just like to leave new things and meet new people and horses
