Future Requirements

What would you like to do or gain in your next job?

I’m seeking a professional Home Groom or Stable Assistant position where I can continue developing within a structured, high-standard European yard. I aim to expand my experience in dressage and show-jumping management, refine my stable operations and horse-care skills to European standards, and work toward long-term goals in barn management.

Do you need accommodation?

Yes, accommodation would be required as part of my relocation. During my college years, I operated a professional house- and pet-sitting service where I maintained exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and care, always leaving each space better than when I arrived. That experience taught me to be respectful of others’ property and to take pride in maintaining a tidy, well-kept living environment. My personal dog is well-mannered, fully trained, and kennel-trained when I am away.

Do you have any special requirements for any animals you wish to bring with you?

Yes. My dog and horse would accompany me as part of my relocation. My dog is quiet, well-trained, and entirely my responsibility. Ideally, my horse would be kept on-site or at a nearby facility, as he is an important part of my daily structure and long-term professional goals. Having them close supports his consistency and my post-work training and care routine.

Do you have any ongoing commitments?

No ongoing commitments that would interfere with full-time relocation or employment. I am prepared to transition permanently and dedicate myself fully to the role.

Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know of?

No, I have no holidays booked and can be flexible with start dates to accommodate the stable’s schedule.

Experience with Horses

I have over 15 years of experience caring for and preparing performance horses across English and Western disciplines, with a strong focus on training support, turnout, health management, and competition readiness. My experience includes assisting A-level trainers with show preparation, managing daily routines, clipping, lunging, feeding, and operating equine rehabilitation tools such as the water treadmill, equisizer, and salt spa. I’ve also provided media and photography support for training and show documentation, bringing a creative edge to professional presentation.

I take pride in maintaining calm handling, reliability, and precision under pressure, and am confident in managing the daily care and presentation of horses at a professional standard.
