Experience with Horses

Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.

I originally trained at Talland in 2014. I have my BHS stage 3 complete. I freelance as a coach, rider and some yard work.

I produce young horses for both dressage and eventing. I am calm and friendly. I do a thorough job and deeply care for the horses and for developing people as both riders and for good horsemanship.

Key Skills

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc

I work well alone and with others. I am good at training others and enjoy being part of a team. I can take sole charge. I am able to clip, plait and turn out to a high standard. I am good with young horses and have full equine and human first aid experience. I have my 7.5 and trailer licence.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

Being outdoors, the peace and quiet. The reward of achievement with young horses and helping riders reach their goals.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

I am looking to take my stage 4 qualifications.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

I am reliable, experienced and cheerful. I am professional and a good sense of humour.
