Acquired diverse skills in breeding and foaling while collaborating
within a dedicated team.
Performed comprehensive yard duties and grooming tasks daily.
Navigated sensitive situations with professionalism and composure.
Supported veterinary and farrier services for mares and foals,
including newborns to six-month-olds.
Langshot Stud – Groom Surrey 01/2024 – 04/2024
Delivered exceptional care for private clients’ horses through effective
teamwork.
Maintained cleanliness and safety but executing various yard
responsibilities.
Carried out lunging and hacking exercises to ensure the fitness of all
ridden horses.

The Maltings (Catherine Ingham) – Home Groom/Nanny Reading 6/2022 – 02/2023
Managed daily runnings of a small private family yard, ensuring a
high level of care was met for ponies and retired horses.
Carried out all yard duties and maintenance tasks to uphold
standards.
Performed household tasks and provided childcare support as needed.
Also organising and sorting farrier visits and feed orders when
needed.
Oakwood Park Kennels – Kennel Maid Wokingham 10/2016 – 03/2020
Ensured comprehensive daily care for pets by feeding, watering, and
meeting all needs.
Administering medications and performed basic first aid as required
to safeguard health.

Having worked of a variety of different yards mainly liveries but have done sole charge positions.  I gained different skills within each I am looking to further my education and develop more extensive skills as I feel as a groom I have more to give and learn. I am very competent with all yard duties delivering care to the highest standard, also happy to handle fit competition horses/ previously delt with some racehorses  ect . Capable of sole charge and managing my own time but also thrive working within a team. I have excellent communication skills and am always praised for being approachable and sympathetic to clients.

FUTURE REQUIREMENTS

• I am looking for a role where im able to bring my true passion for horses and dive into a team where im able to learn and expand my skill set.
• I am really wanting to learn more about show prep/clipping as I am yet to be taught this.
• While I have been riding since I was young and had my own horse for 10+ years ,I haven’t been fortune enough to gain more professional teaching and would love to be able to. I am happy to school safe/hack out uncomplicated horses but anything further I would need training. I appreciate this isn’t alway available and a riding role isn’t essential but would be truly a bonus.
• While I was exploring and moved to a few different yards I gained experience working with young horses, mares and foals. I haven’t done a huge amount in this area but have experience with foal watch and handing new borns to 6 month olds. This is an area I would also be happy to go back into and further gain fromIn terms of what im looking for
• I am open to any discipline however I am mostly interested dressage and showing. I also have an interest in polo as I’m a real buzzy character  and thrive of a fast paced environment.
• I am also interested in doing a season abroad, aware this would require a visa and other things id have to sort but I’m more than happy to do this.
• Im currently based in reading but am happy relocate for the right role. I would be looking for a live in role with single accommodation. I come with a car and a full uk driving licence. no pets at this current time or annoying partners.
• If a live out position is available id be looking for no where more than a half an hours drive from reading/winnersh.
• Im a very fit and capable individual, I love being outdoors and am always doing something within the fitness industry I keep myself to myself and want for nothing. Just genuinely have a love for horses and will bring a no drama attitude wherever I go.
