Experience with Horses
I have 45+ years of elite equestrian experience, having:
- Competed internationally in FEI dressage to Inter I level
- Systematically developed four horses to Grand Prix level, from backing them
- Trained with world-class coaches including Gretha Hausmann (Germany), Rien van der Schaft (Netherlands), Amy Stovold (UK), Morten Thomsen, and Klaus Balkenhol
- Competed up until age 45 (current age 53)
- Had comprehensive foundation across all equestrian disciplines as a child and junior/young adult rider
- Served as Chairlady of Provincial Dressage Committee in Gauteng, South Africa
- Created the “Grow Grand Prix” development program for South Africa’s top riders
- Organized and managed CDI 3*** international dressage shows
- Owned and operated an equine pharmaceutical business (EquiprovetSA) for 6 years
My experience is centered in elite dressage with a strong all-round equestrian foundation from childhood.
