Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
I have experience working with horses in both professional and educational settings. I have worked within the funeral industry, where I was responsible for presenting horses to an exceptionally high standard. This required excellent attention to detail, calm handling, and maintaining horses’ turnout and behaviour in formal and often sensitive environments.
In addition, I have assisted at a riding school, supporting daily yard duties, horse care, and working as part of a team to ensure the horses’ welfare and smooth running of the yard. I also hold a Level 1 qualification in Horse Care, which has given me a solid foundation in horse welfare, stable management, health, safety, and basic handling.
I am open to both non-riding and riding opportunities, depending on the role and requirements, and I am keen to continue developing my skills within a professional yard environment.
