Experience with Horses

Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.

I’ve been riding since the age of 5. I have worked at various professional yards including at Sheepcote with David Pincus, Stallion AI Shropshire, Bowhouse with JP Daker, racing yards, stud foaling yards and various others including being sole charge on a yard with stallions and youngstock and being sole rider riding young driving KWPNs.

Key Skills

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc

Good at handling you stock and competition horses, confident handling stallions. Turns out to a very high standard and rides to a good standard.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

I just love being with horses! Taking pride in watching them progress especially “problem” horses and also taking pride in turning out to the highest standard.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

Competition grooming for ridden events as it’s been a few years since I have done this kind of work with the last competitions I groomed for being at a carriage driving yard for Windsor horse show.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

I am extremely dedicated and hard working pushing myself above and beyond for the right role!
