Experience with Horses

I have been around horses since before I can remember and had many throughout my life. During school I chose to do my 2 week work experience doing what I love with horses. From the age of 11 I got my first job at the local riding school helping out and doing volunteer work – along side my own horse. I have had and backed a young horse (I got her when she was 5) and helped to continue her education whilst also being professionally schooled. I have tons of experience and would just love to get back to doing what I love.

Key Skills

I work well as an individual just as well as I do in a team of people.

I have a high standard of stable management – mucking out etc.

My tack is always kept to a high standard and cleaned.
I am reliable and hardworking, always giving 110% and helping others.

Confident handling.

i am able to stay calm in stressful situations to diffuse them.

I have competitive experience growing up helping others as a groom and for myself.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses? I enjoy how much there is to learn about horses, every horse is different. I feel the learning opportunities are never ending.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve? I am working on becoming faster and more efficient during busy yard routines.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker? I am reliable, a hard worker and always up anything. I take horse care seriously, am eager to learn more and improve.
