Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
Riding schools, big and small livery yards, dressage, show jumping, eventing, young horses, older retired horses, foals, teach young children through to older adults, training riding school ponies, training for sales, schooling for competition prep and rehab.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
Sole charge, general grooming, schooling and dealing with difficult horses, tack cleaning, mucking out (I am very OCD), rehabilitation, teaching and instructing on and off the horses.
accounts management, client bookings and face to face with clients.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
Seeing things through to completion, rewarding watching a horse come out of rehab, or seeing a client go to their first show etc.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
Clipping and bandaging speed with skill.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I am hard working, take my own initiative and I’m a good problem solver for the unpredictable everyday of horses.
