My name is Daniel, I am 21 years old and here is a little bit about me. I am a hardworking and practical person who enjoys being busy and taking pride in what I do. I currently work at a retirement livery yard, which has given me a real appreciation for routine, attention to detail and the importance of consistent care, particularly with older horses. I have grown up around horses, with both my parents and my partner riding, so yard life feels very natural to me. Being around horses from a young age, along with everything my dad has taught me over the years about general maintenance and doing jobs properly, has shaped the way I work.
My main strengths are in estate maintenance, grounds work and some vehicle management. I hold a Class 2 HGV licence and have experience driving both 7.5 tonne and 3.5 tonne horseboxes across the UK. I am confident with fencing, harrowing, lawn care, landscaping, jet washing, and general upkeep, and I take pride in keeping a property tidy, organised and running smoothly. I am physically fit, reliable and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Ideally I am looking for a long term live in role as part of a working couple within a private estate or equestrian setting, where I can take responsibility and be someone that can be trusted and relied upon.
