Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
I am extremely experienced, I have worked at eventing, showjumping, racing, hunting, and breeding yards. My knowledge within the industry is strong and I pride myself on my work. I am currently looking for an equine, yard or groom based job.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I am an experienced equine professional with a strong background across showjumping, breeding, racing, hunting, and livery yards. I am skilled in daily horse care, exercising, grooming at shows, and taking sole charge of yards. I am reliable, adaptable, and confident working with anything from youngsters to competition horses. I have a proven record of maintaining high standards of organisation and welfare.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I enjoy the fast paced environment, there’s always a job that needs to be done and I love knowing I have worked to the best of my abilities each day
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I’d like to improve my confidence when out competing
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I think that I stand out due to not only my experience but my attitude, I always prioritise work. I can work well in a group but also maintain the same level of focus when given individual tasks. I think given the opportunity I would make a great addition to any team.
