Future Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I would like to continue developing my skills while contributing positively to horse welfare and day to day yard operations. I want to gain further experience working with a variety of horses. Expanding my knowledge and giving my care and attention to horses and other animals. I also want to take on new responsibilities and continue growing in confidence in different settings be it in a house sitting setting or being a home groom or even taking on a completely different role in the industry. As long as I continue to develop new skills.

I have over 15 years of experience in the equine industry. Developing strong skills in the care, handling and training of horses across a variety of settings. Alongside my equine expertise, ~I am highly experienced in caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats and farm animals. Ensuring their health and wellbeing, and daily needs are consistently met. I am confident in feeding routines, grooming, administering first aid and dealing with vets farriers dentist and physio. recognising illnesses and animals in distress. My experience also extends to training, where i use calm, patient and clear methods to build trust and encourage positive behaviour. in addition, I offer reliable house and pet sitting services, maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable care for animals in their own home.

I have experience in sole charge and working within a team. My equine skills are and not limited to grooming, plaiting, clipping, turning out for shows, administering medication and equine first aid. I also have experience handling stallions, mares in foal and with foals at foot. I also have experience dealing with older more senior horses and knowing the care and attention that is needed for all equines in many different environments be it out competing or retirement.
I also have experience in administration and organising the day to day running of a yard, be it organising vet and farrier visits or delivery of feed and bedding etc.
I enjoy working with all types of animals and have had my own dogs and cats in the past and have trained with working dogs on the farm as well as caring for sheep, cattle, alpacas, pigs, chickens, and goats.

I enjoy the calm nature they have and how rewarding it is when they show you trust in return for the safe and caring environment you provide them.
