I have an unusual resume as although I have a lifetime experience of horses, I did choose to study a degree and work in a corporate job for a number of years.
I have a degree in English and Politics and I am a chartered insurance advisor.
My non horse skills include people management, basic accounting skills, website management and marketing. Some compliance and HACCP skills also in relation to food production and event management. I am happy to discuss all of this in more detail.
I am a qualified coach and have ran my own small breeding operation at home for the last ten years alongside working at a local competition centre.

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I have a lot of breeding and foaling down experience. I am an efficient, passionate and committed yard manager. I am particularly capable in terms of the management and nutrition of competition horses.
Flatwork is my strength and I enjoy competing in affiliated dressage. Having said that, I do have a lot of showjumping and eventing experience and I am capable of producing and fittening horses for any affiliated competition.

Horses are my passion in life and I feel grateful to have the opportunity to work with them every day.
I enjoy the physical fitness and lifestyle this also enables.

Horse welfare in sport.

I have diverse knowledge across the equestrian sector and beyond and can hit the ground running and pick things up very quickly in most circumstances.
