Experience with Horses
Since leaving college at 18 I have been lucky enough to work across a range of disciplines. I started off working in point to point before moving on to eventing,hunting and dressage. I now work as a freelance groom.
I have traveled to races for point to point, regionals and nationals championships, eventing upto to 3* . Done second horses out in the hunting field.
I have worked with a range of horses . Big fit competition horses including stallions and youngsters.
Key Skills
Clipping is definitely my top skill! I have run a successful clipping business for 5 years now. I clip for HOYS, olympia, Royal international, regional finals and just every day clipping.
Im lucky enough to say I can work well as team and on my own. Having worked across a selection of disiplines in different situations I’m lucky to be pretty versatile. I do a lot of holiday cover and sick cover so I am more then capable to be left alone and get on with the job.
Strengths and Weaknesse
strength again is turn out. I love pulling manes, tails and clipping. As well as the trimming I love grooming and presenting horses to a high standard. I enjoy cleaning tack as again it’s all part of the bigger picture!!
im friendly approachable and reliable! I genuinely love my job and take pride in what I do.
Im tall and confident so handy with the bigger horses. Although so not helpful for smaller ponies, especially exercising!
Requirements
I would LOVE to find a full time position within Kent. Competition yard ideally within dressage but flexible with the disciplines. Belonging to a yard and being proud of achievements would be brilliant!
With a position in a kent no accommodation would be required as I am a car driver.
I am also more then happy to do short term and Temp cover across the UK. Accommodation would be required with a role of this sort.
i would also be happy to relocate for the perfect full time and long term position
