Experience with Horses
I have been working with horses since I was 10yrs old volunteering in riding schools. I went on to work in various different yards, showjumping, breeding, racing, riding school, CAFRE collage & competitive family yards. I went on to do my BHS Level 2/3 NVQ and have picked up a tone of experience over the years in the equine industry and have been working in a large animal vets practice office and assisting vets when need till current. I have my own clipping business KMEquine Services which I started up in 2019 and have been very busy and successfully with, alongside assisting my friend who is a vet with her breeding and AI program’s at her own stud. I also come from a farming back ground well used to driving farm machinery and milking cows. I am well used to working in a team or managing one as well as working solo, I enjoy general yard duties mucking out etc. My main strength when riding would be cross country, Im a brave strong rider and enjoy the buzz I get from cross country and hunting which I have been doing for the last 7 years. I enjoy show jumping as well and have competed myself SJI on my friends horses as my hunters never really suit SJ. I also used to back and produce young animals and have been very successful in selling my stock on to the UK and Ireland. I take joy and pride in my work.
