Experience with Horses
I have always worked with horses, in every school holiday I would go and help and work at the stables. This then led into my first job. During my A-Levels I gained my BHS Stages 1-3. After A-levels I went and Worked at Talland where I gained my Stage 4, PTT, ITT. I also have my HGV. I have competed up to Medium dressage and starting at Advanced Medium with my current horse.
Skills
My main skills are, clipping, plaiting, grooming, rider, riding horses that need a more sympathetic rider, Instructor, good with children, teaching children with a disability, teaching all abilities up to medium, administration, people skills.
Strengths
- What do you most enjoy about working with horses? Seeing their progression with all of the hard work you have put in.
- What are you particularly good at? Teaching people who have struggled to understand things with other instructors. I am also good at helping horses who need a quieter rider and someone who won’t push them too quickly.
