Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services.
I am Australian and moved to Europe 11 years ago to work with horses full time. I have worked in both dressage and show jumping stables up to 5* Olympic level stables in both disciplines in Europe and the UK. I have worked as a show groom, though now I would be looking for a home based position. I have a lot of experience as a flat rider for jumping horses and am an experienced and competent rider having competed up to Prix St George level in dressage on a horse I broke in and trained myself.
I can carry out all normal stable duties to a high standard as well as a high level of turnout, plait (dressage and jumping plaits), IV/IM injection.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I am a hard worker and am able to work well by myself or in a team as I have an easy-going personality. Ability to turnout to a very high standard. I have a lot of experience in handling young horses and stallions. I am an experienced and capable flat rider. A lot of experience in correct biomechanics of the horse and rehabilitation, making them stronger and more correct for better performance. I am currently studying equine physiotherapy which also gives a great understanding of the sport horse from a different perspective.
