Experience with horses
I have worked on a variety of yard in the past from a large riding school/pony club/livery yard in Ireland to a show jumping competition yard and a smaller livery/hunting yard. I have handled youngstock to stallions and fit competition horses.
Key Skills
I can clip, plait and turnout to a high standard. Used to sole charge/working alone/working with others. I have prior experience of working at a stud so am used to stallions/youngsters/mare in foal.
I have first aid experience – equine and human.
I am hardworking and get on with the job – I fully understand that working with horses is a year round role whatever the weather.
