Experience with Horses

I am 39 years old, I have my BHSAI & I have worked in the equestrian industry for approx 15 years. I have a large amount of experience mostly with dressage horses, event horses & hunters.  I am a competent rider currently competing at BD Medium level & training at Advanced Medium level at home.  I have produced my own horse from a just sat on 4 year old up through the levels, with great success.  I have also evented at BE 90cm & 1m. I am competent & experienced at schooling both green youngsters & older more trained horses.  I understand the importance of hacking out & getting eventers & hunters fit up.  I am particulary strong at schooling horses on the flat.  I also enjoy SJ & XC schooling. I understand how to plan & vary a horse’s work & fitness programme, along with the importance of it.

I am also qualified to teach & have a variety of experience teaching at pony club, equestrian centres & private clients.

I am fully competent at all yard duties, clipping, plaiting & a high standard of turning out.  I’ve had a few sole charge positions on family yards which i enjoy & i am perfectly capable of running a yard. I have also worked as part of a team on competition yards.

I thoroughly enjoy schooling horses and the opportunity to compete / produce horses would be even better.

Ideally I am looking to stay in the Cheshire / Shropshire/ Powys / North Wales area.  However, I would consider other areas for the right job.

I have a well behaved 16.2hh gelding & a speyed Jack Russell girl.  I require accommodation for myself  my horse & my dog. I also require an arena for schooling my horse.

I am hardworking, dedicated, reliable & honest. I have an upbeat personality with a sense of humour. I drive a trailer & I am willing to take a HGV test. References available upon request.

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc

I am am particulary good at dressage/flatwork schooling.  I have a very high standard of turnout.  I also have OCD and i am very good at keeping everything organised & tidy!

Riding

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

Riding , as you can never stop learning.  I would love the opportunity to ride dressage horses at PSG level or above, to further my riding ability & knowledge.  I also enjoy jumping.

I am a straight talking, honest, hard working girl with a good sense of humour who is reliable, dedicated & good at her job.
