Experience with Horses
Have worked with horses for many years on different types of yards from livery, polo, hunting and stud. Have owned my own horses for 40 years. I also owned my own small yard, where I had full liveries and took horses in for breaking/schooling. This I found highly re-warding and challenging, most of the horses had various riding/handling issues, some unhandled or had had problems, being broken in first time around.
I would be happy having a varied role which could be combination of yard work, preferably some riding/schooling and/or housekeeping. I am happy to do painting, strimming, light gardening, or a horse only job. Sole charge considered, or work as team. Have had some experience of competition grooming and competed myself.
I can clip, plait manes, pull/trim turn horse out for sale. I am hard working, very reliable and friendly person.
Would be looking for live in unless close to Cardiff/ Newport/ Monmouth.
I have had to take a break from working with horses full time over the last few years, due to personal/family reasons, but I am very much looking forward to getting back into horses and yard life!
