Experience with Horses
I have a 4-year diploma as in Equine Management/ Equestrian Sports and over 35 years of experience with handling, riding and taking care of horses in all most every aspect of the Equine World. I started riding at a local riding academy and later worked several years at Vrieling Studfarm, where Samber was held for over 30 years. At the Agricultural College, I was taught by Dr. Paul De Vries DVM, well-known for his Reproduction Research in horses.
Compete in Dressage (level 5). Trained horses for riding and shows, Condition horses to accept riding aids, Training of green, inexperienced and problem horses, tack horses, Clip, trim and braid horses. Teach children and beginners the basics of riding and horse care. But also; feeding, watering, grooming, handling, and restraining horses.( assist farrier or veterinarian).
Trained with Johan Hamminga and Lammert Haanstra. The are well known trainers in the Netherlands. From the both of them I have a certificate in Lunging. I have been to Florida to do a demo in Lunging which was awesome.
I also have a veterinary Technician diploma and years of experience in large and small animals.
