Experience with Horses
After working at a riding school for a number of years learning valuable skills and working on a busy yard that deals with a range of people and horses, I now work on a 5* event yard grooming regularly for an international event rider. Within this job I am completing a Level 2 apprenticeship with Haddon Training.
Key Skills
I can efficiently and effectively plait, pull and trim manes. I really enjoy turning horses out to a high standard for shows, of any discipline, making sure the horses are looking their absolute best.
I am a competent rider with plenty of experince riding young and green horses. I am looking for a job that still involves training as I would love to develop my riding.
I will be looking to do my HGV come my 18th birthday in July.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• I enjoy most things on any yard. I especially enjoy working within a cheerful and upbeat team.
• I would love to improve my riding skills and gain experience on a range of horses.
•I approach all situations with a calm and confident attitude. I’m very willing to learn and am a very motivated member of any team.
Requirements
• I would like to gain more experience in the eventing world along side working at home and away with top horses.
• I will require accommodation if the job is more than 30mins outside of Stockport, Cheshire area.
• I currently have no special requirements but it would be a bonus if pets were allowed.
• I am currently in work and would be looking for the new job to start from August 2019
