Experience with Horses
I have dedicated 35 years to the horse industry, only really having a break to have my son who is now grown up.
I am an experienced, hard working groom, who is loyal and honest. I have a vast experience on multi – disaplined yards, including hunting, point 2 point, polo and eventing yards. I am organised and used to multi-tasking and planning the fitness, health and wellbeing of each horses individual needs, including organising and scheduling of veterinary, farrier and physio appointments.
I have high standards of stable management and turnout at home and at competition, and take great pride in my work.
Over the last three years I have had sole charge of the horses, also as part of my job I am entrusted to travel the family children out competing and training. I am fully CRB checked and have completed my emergency first aid at work certificate within this employment. Previously to that also holding sole charge positions on various yards.
Key Skills
Due to the extensive length of time within the industry i have adapted and learnt my craft to ensure horses welfare is the priority whilst maintaing extremely high standards.
