Experience with Horses
Over 20 years of experience working with horses and horse care. Following the horse management Diploma at Merryst Wood College, I have worked consistently within the equestrian world at international show jumping level and have real empathy with all types warmbloods, show jumping and dressage horses, leading to working with the UK’s top international show jumpers and dressage riders.
I’m an extremely experienced travelling/competition groom (have groomed at shows for the Whitakers and other top-level Olympic Show Jumpers at national and international shows in the UK and overseas). I can demonstrate good job longevity in my work history. Please see my CV for further details of the numerous high profile international Show Jumpers I’ve worked for throughout my career.
Requirements
I want to stay in the Show Jumping industry. I’m looking for work within a 1-1.5 hour drive from Gatwick. I will consider further afield for the right opportunity.
Happy to competition groom, be a home groom, work alone or within a team. Not bothered about riding, but happy to school and hack out when required. I have no desires to jump horses!
I have a well-behaved Jack Russell Terrier who has her own passport etc and comes everywhere with me.
I can offer excellent references. I’m currently working on a freelance basis so can start with a few day’s notice.
