- Experience with Horses
I have owned and competed since being a small child. I now have experience working at a 5* yard for two of the best event riders in the world. I’ve groomed at numerous competitions and can turn horses out to a high standard. I’ve prepared horses for eventing, showjumping , showing and I’ve turned out for hunting, so I can clip, trim up, plait etc. I can handle fit competition horses. I’ve helped others with difficult horses from knowledge I’ve picked up through my training, as well as riding multiple different horses for riders who are experiencing difficulties. Ive also competed BSJ , BE with my own horses and done very well. Experienced with riding up the gallops so know how to do fitness work, I can lunge, longrein, break in horses and produce them, school, jump etc
Key SkillS
i am able to work alone and under pressure, I’ve had experience of running a sales yard with lots of young, challenging horses including stallion. I am very organised and quick. I can plait, clip, turnout for competition. I am capable of all the first aid side of things and have a very hood eye for spotting lameness or if horses are not feeling themself.
Strengths and weakness
. I am very reliable and trustworthy, work along side other people really well and love dealing with owners/ clients.
• I love a tidy yard and to keep the horses looking smart all the time. Very particular.
• employers should employ me because I am experienced in all areas having worked for lots of different people and lots of different horses. Picking you from grooming for 5* riders to then handling youngsters and doing all the groundwork, breaking in. Handling fit competition horses or stallions and youngsters is something I’m confident with. I can also turn out to a very high standard, I’m also very quick and efficient on the yard.
