Experience with Horses
I have been around horses since a very young age, starting riding age 3. I have previously worked managing a busy thoroughbred stud, care of 30 brood mares and foals and yearlings. I have completed 5 polo seasons, including one in NZ, each looking after my own string of ponies. I have also worked on a busy livery/hunting yard/riding school looking after a minimum of 6 horses, feeding, grooming, exercising – schooling, hacking, ride and lead. General yard duties, cleaning tack, turning horses out, putting horses on the walker and taking them off. Teaching in the riding school, mostly at weekends. Also worked at a private family hunting yard, sole charge of 6 horses, and occasional charge of two dogs and chickens. Carried out general yard duties, feeding, exercise and general maintenance of all horses.

Strengths and Weaknesses
I love to be outside, have worked outside for many years and am not afraid of the elements. I am hard working and dedicated, with a keen eye for detail.
I enjoy working within a team, but can also work well on my own. I am able to use my own initiative, so do not need to rely on instructions to get the job done.
I have my years experience in a multiple of different disciplines and am a quick learner. I am not afraid to get stuck in, I am reliable and will provide professional care for all animals I am looking after.
Requirements
Accommodation may be required depending on the location, I have a car so am able to drive.
I have a dog, who has always been around horses- he may come with me if it is suitable, however if it was not then it would not be a problem.
I have a holiday 7th February – 11th February.
