In Experience with Horses
I was an exercise rider for Izzy Taylor Eventing. I would hack out 4/5 horses and lunge several also every day. I have been grooming and riding since the age of 4 and before starting college I volunteered at my local riding stables.
I have achieved a Distinction*Distinction BTEC Level 3 Horse Management with Riding Academy at Moulton College in Northampton.
Whilst at college I was lucky enough to have my work placement at Tim and Antonia Brown.
Key Skills
I work well as a team member or on my own. I am competent in clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling young horses and I can ride.
I have also competed in nonaffiliated show jumping competitions.
I have volunteered holidays and Saturdays at school at Manor farm near Norwich where I have worked with yearlings and foals and can handle with confidence
Strengths and Weaknesses
I love working with horses not just riding but caring for them too. It has been my only passion since starting at age 4 and I am determined to pursue this as my career for life
Requirements
I would require live-in accommodation, I would not be bringing my own horse or any animals and have no special requirements or ongoing commitments. I am looking for some good experiences with performance horses so that one day I may be able to run my own livery yard. I would also like to take my HGV test at some point in the future.
