I have years of experience with horses and dogs, I’ve owned my own business for the past 6 years. I’ve worked in racing stables, riding school’s, private yards, trekking centres ( trek leader) with accommodation, bar work, administration , receptionist and racing secretary. Sole charge House sitting, caring for animals including horses, dogs, chickens, goats, sheep.
I have 3 horses of my own, a mare and her foal who is now 4 years old and a gelding that I took in as a rescue and rehabilitated. I am used to working with youngsters and abused horses. I have a lot of patience!
I have 2 grown up children. I teach children and adults to ride on my own horses so used to working with children and happy to have them around. I like to cook (when I have time) and enjoy making tasty/ nutritious meals.
I am capable of House keeping duties if required and have previous experience of this. I have worked in hotels/country homes/a trekking centre helping out with cleaning chores as well as running my own home.
I enjoy working alone or in a team, I can ride but don’t want to ride youngsters or breakers due to me not being such a spring chicken any longer. I can ride alone and in company. I can do basic schooling.
I feel at peace when I’m around animals and their welfare is my main priority, I don’t like cruelty in any form. I am friendly and outgoing and professional at all time’s.
I do not need to bring any of my animals with me.
I would need accommodation for myself and my husband. He is great with horses. He is very good as a handyman around the house and yard, he’s also got all his forestry chainsaw qualifications, digger driver as well as a qualified forestry forwarder driver in the UK and is a very knowledgeable gardener. He speaks excellent English.
