Experience with Horses
Mainly, but not limited to, riding/training and competing dressage and show jumping horses. I have also ridden and trained for endurance racing, and have ridden/exercised horses for flat racing, including youngsters and breaking in. I have plenty of experience in equine first aid and have done lots of work experience with the racing club’s equine vet.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at?
Working alone, working with others, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling/riding young horses. Additionally, dealing with confrontations and problems both within the equine aspect of the job and personal relations between staff.
Swimming horses, and training them in the equine spa. Equine first aid such as bandaging, dressing wounds, and administering medication orally and IV or IM.
