Experience with Horses
I have ridden since the age of 4 and have recently competed up to novice. My previous experience includes working with young stock, racehorse, stallions and 5* event horses. I have also worked with show horses which have qualified for hickstead and the horse of the year show. I went to college and have a level 3 diploma in equine management and have veterinary skills due to taking a year in equine science at university.
Key Skills
With my last job I have sole charge of a 12 box yard so am good at working alone, however have worked on large yards and have the skills to work and mentor others that i work with. I can clip, plait and turn out for shows. I have handled stallions, handling/riding young horses, and have ridden difficult horses. I have experience with racing and riding horses on gallops.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses? I have always liked working with horses and enjoy learning about each of their personalities. I have liked working with horses that have little experience and teaching them how to work correctly.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
If there was anything I would like to improve on it would be my skills in dressage and maybe farrier skills as my previous employer was able to shoe our racers.

I have a lot of great experience with good employers and am quick at what I do but this great care.
