Experience with Horses
From a young age I have found myself wanting to work within the equestrian industry and have undertaken work experience in various related equine employments. I am a happy/cheery person to be around and get on with all on the yard, Human or Animal. I have previously worked on yards which have been Point to point, team chasing, Competition/schooling, Full livery, Polo, Hunting and Riding schools. In all of these employments there was a strict routine to be kept, which therefore meant I had to be good with my time keeping skills and all required turnout to a high standard. I have been left in sole charge whilst Owner/Bosses were out competing or hunting and all have found every thing to be of high standard after returning. I have also had some employment, which have had an admin type role and so I am fairly computer literate and also have a good telephone manner. I feel I can complete any task to a high standard and have a can do attitude, which would make me a great addition to any team.

Clipping Plaiting Mane and tail pulling Equine first aid Bandaging Riding and road safety Mucking out Grooming Exercise riding/jumping I currently compete my own horse at unaffiliated level in both show jumping and horse trials and have came home with many wins over the last year, including winning a overall champion at league show jumping. I have owned my horse Maverick from a foal and have backed and produced him myself and I am very pleased with what we have achieved so far. I look forward to a promising future. I have completed an SVQ level 2 in Horse care and have gained BHS Riding and road safety.
